Mid St8 Taco Adds Flavor to the West Shore Farmers Market

Mid St8 Taco recently opened at the West Shore Farmers Market and this Saturday my husband and I went to try it out for lunch. There has been quite a bit of buzz about this stand opening at the farmers market as its owner, Pippa Calland, comes from the fine dining world, appeared on BBC America's "Chef Race: UK vs. US" and studied the art of making the perfect taco in Mexico. I have to say that I agree with the hype... they were very tasty! You can get three tacos for $7, which is a pretty decent lunch cost. I went with two of the fish tacos and one pork.
The fish tacos were my favorite! My husband also tried the chorizo and potato taco. You can tell a lot of thought and care went into every item they were serving including hand-making the corn tortillas and the made-to-order guacamole. It's always difficult to choose what to eat at the West Shore Farmers Market because there are so many delicious choices, but we will definitely be back soon for more tacos!
