My husband and I got a much needed date night recently when we decided to help Rillo's celebrate their 50th Anniversary... if you can still call it a date night since we brought our seven month old son along! I was pleased to discover that not only did Rillo's have high chairs but they had an area in the back room that was sort of tucked into the wall where they could seat us and we could still enjoy the ambiance but the high chair was out of traffic and we wouldn't be bothering any couples wanting a quiet moment. I'm sorry to say that I don't have any pictures of our appetizer even though it was my favorite part of the meal! We ordered the Gnocchi and Banana Peppers and it came out so quickly and was so good that we ate it all up before I even thought to get my camera out! I did remember to photograph our entrees... YUM! I had the Chicken Rustica and the "rose sauce" was out of this world (both that night and the next day for lunch) and my husband ordered Daddy's Combo. All in all the food was great, they served large portions and the restaurant is beautiful; but to me, the best part of the night was that we had wonderful service. When you're dining with an infant (or just dining in general) good service is so important! We got all of our courses very quickly but not on top of each other, she was great with answering questions about ingredients, our drinks were never empty, and when we were ready to leave, she was right there with the check! Happy Anniversary Rillo's... you certainly made my night!
